More Than Just Beer

Happy 21st birthday to my brother! I was going to write about organic beer today, so I was surprised to see a guest post written about conversion of beer into fuel! If you’re still interested in organic beer, here’s the link to buy an organic beer sampler set.

Guest Post From Joanne

beer2.jpgI found a great article that I wanted to share titled New Machine Makes Fuel From Beer.

A scientist founded the E-FUEL Corporation in March 2007. It’s for people who want to break their dependency on oil. They did it and, YUM, with beer! They use a portable machine called MicroFueler. It’s about the size of a stackable washer-dryer unit and could easily fit in an ordinary driveway. The MicroFueler produces ethanol that can then be used in any car that is converted for flex fuels. The ethanol is created when sugar or beer is poured into the machine, which also already has water in it.

See, beer’s not just for a buzz! LOL! HAVE FUN!!

Joanne is a 46 year old mom of 2 grown children, who informs me she does not feel 46! She is interested in the green lifestyle and is trying to learn more to share with her children.
