Raw Macaroon Recipe: I type this with a happily bloated stomach and a chocolaty smothered face. I of course had to perform a series of taste tests throughout the manufacture of these delicious macaroons. Not only are they yummy and nutritious, when you jazz them up with little chicks and other Easter paraphernalia they are sure to delight young and old. What’s better they require very little skill or equipment to make. Check out the recipe and let us know what you think. Also if you have any other ideas leave us a comment.
1/2 cup coconut butter
1/2 cup tbsp raw cacao powder
1/4 cup tbsp maple syrup
1 cup tbsp shredded coconut
a pinch of sea salt
Directions
(1) Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and form into balls. You may need to warm the coconut butter slightly.
(2) Chill in the refrigerator.
(3) Decorate however you may fancy
(4) Share with family and friends
