Refrigerator Temperature: Do you know the temperature you keep your refrigerator/freezer? Are you wasting energy by having them set colder than necessary? For a few dollars, you can pick up a refrigerator/freezer thermometer to help you keep the temperature set to a safe one, but not so cold that you waste energy.
Our refrigerator recently died, and we lost the food in it. Once we got it repaired, we picked up two of these, from Target, to make sure it continued working properly (so far, so good!) They are available only in store, and they cost about $5.
