Following our post on ‘The Top 5 Food For Amazing Skin’, here is simple recipe to get you started.
- 1 ripe avocado skinned and cubed
- 4 or 5 kale leaves
- 2 handfuls of spinach
- 1/4 cup walnuts
- 1 diced tomato
- 1/2 diced orange bell pepper
- 3 sliced green onions
- 1-2 Tbsp Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1-2 Tbsp Chia Oil or Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Clove of Garlic
- A Little Fresh Ginger
- A dash of lemon juice
Combine all of the ingredients except the dressing in a big bowl. Crush the garlic and chop or grate the ginger, combine with the vinegar, oil and lemon juice. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss thoroughly. Et voila yummy goodness. Experiment, maybe add some sun dried tomatoes or a spoon of spirulina for an extra nutrient kick.
