Mexi-Snax Natural Multi-Grain Tortilla Chips

One of my snacking guilty pleasures, when I’m in the mood, is tortilla chips. I’ve tried a wide variety of them, organic and not, and most have been pretty disappointing… to the point that I’ve almost stopped being in the mood for them at all. I decided to give them one more try, though, and Mexi-Snax is the brand I gave a shot.
Mexi-Snax makes tortilla chips in a number of a flavors, but I tried the multi-grain white and blue chips. All of the chips are made with all natural ingredients and are wheat and gluten free. The white chips are made with organic corn, flax seeds, and black beans and the blue chips are made with organic corn, flax seeds, and quinoa.
I’ll be honest – I was a little nervous to try the blue chips, I’ve never tried them before. I put off trying those ones for awhile, and went for the white chips. As always, I expect the worst when I try new products, and I was surprised again. In a good way! The chips had a good texture (I’m big on texture!) and flavor. I’d compare them to Tostitos brand chips. They’re also good with salsa, and are able to handle a chunky salsa without a problem.
The blue chips… I was nervous right up until I took a bite of one. They tasted very similar to the white ones, with the same texture. I haven’t tried them with salsa, but I’d imagine they’d be just as good.
Mexi-Snax blue and white multi-grain tortilla chips can be purchased online for $1.99 per bag, currently.
