Reusable Bags for People Who Hate Reusable Bags

Maybe this topic is talked about too much, maybe not, but I’m going to talk about it again. Why? Because the bags I’m going to talk about in this post are cool. ‘Nuff said.

Bags are usually just bags… they have handles, they carry stuff. That’s about it, usually. Lots of reusable bags are ugly, with store logos on them, but these are the option a lot of people resort to, mostly because they don’t know there are other options. Most reusable bags are designed to be very similar to regular plastic store bags – with two short handles. The bags I’m going to talk about in this post are much different.

ChicoBags

The above video (click here to see if video doesn’t work) shows how to use ChicoBags to wrap gifts, which would be great with any bags, but especially with their holiday bag designs.

ChicoBags offer your standard reusable bags with two short handles, but the ones I want to talk about more are the unique designs they carry. The bag I was lucky enough to receive for review was the Messenger ($17.99). I was completely impressed by the concept – it’s just like a regular, more pricey messenger bag, with lots of pockets and a long strap, but it folds up into a tiny storage compartment and is made from recycled materials. It features flexible bottle pockets, an adjustable strap, and a sleek magnetized closure system. It’s a stylish way to carry groceries and the messenger bag style makes it easy to walk or ride your bike while wearing.

The DayPack($19.99) is another unique option, especially for anyone who travels to the store on their bike. This one also folds up into a pouch and is made of recycled materials. This backpack style bag features flexible bottle pockets as well as adjustable straps.

I know many people who don’t use reusable shopping bags because they forget them at home or in their car whenever they head to the store. flip & tumble bags make these excuses pretty much pointless. These bags, which come in an array of gorgeous, vibrant colors, fold up into a stretchable pouch and become about the size of a small peach. The strap on the bags is long and has a padded section on the top, making them super easy to carry, and with a weight capacity of about 25 pounds, the option to carry them on your shoulder rather than in your hands takes a load off… well, your hands. Load it up, it won’t complain. flip & tumble bags go for $9 each when you buy 1 or 2, $8 each for 3-6, and $7 each for 7 or more bags.
