My husband and I started this lifestyle change on 2/01/2010 per our doctor. He gave us Eat To Live and China Study, as reading materials. My husband lost over 70 pounds and was able to stops taking all five meds he had been on for over ten years. I lost over 62 pounds and feel great.We now go to the gym six days a week. Are we perfect, no.Do we slip, yes. But are we doing better in life? At least 200% or more.We now live and enjoy, instead of dragging around.We preach this to everyone and have gotten one young man, 30, to try it also.Very pleased with our doctor for giving us this information.

The old favorites: diet and exercise. It’s a lot more convenient to eat unhealthy foods and sit on the couch, but the rewards for living healthy are innumerable!

BTW, in Aspen I attended and sponsored the
Nutritarian Festival for Nutritional Research where
Dr Joel Fuhrman lectured – he too promotes the same
protocol ~ plant-based whole-food lifestyle to PREVENT
a heart attack … it feels great that I can be a part of getting
the message out there and encourage people to empower
themselves to be the change they want to see in the world!
I just opened a raw vegan cafe on Long Island called
Live Island Cafe ! ;-)
