Brighten Up Your Skin and Energy with this Turmeric Tonic!

Turmeric is an amazing food for your skin whether taken internally or applied externally.  It both cleanses and nourishes the skin to retain its elasticity and youthfulness and promotes a radiant glow!

It’s also a strong anti-inflammatory and aids your digestive system to absorb nutrients and normalize metabolism allowing your body to experience higher amounts of energy during the day.

Needless to say, I love turmeric and use it in just about everything!  Here’s a yummy way to use this incredible golden spice to perk up your day from the get-go.

2 cups of hot water
1 tsp (or 1 tea bag) of Tulsi Tea
3 slices of fresh ginger
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 fresh lemon wedge
1 tsp raw honey

Steep tea, ginger and turmeric in hot water for 5 minutes then squeeze in lemon and stir in raw honey to make this warm, golden turmeric tonic that is AMAZING for its anti-inflammatory and alkalizing effect as well as immune system boost.

You can also sprinkle a pinch of turmeric into your juices, sauces, smoothies and many other foods to get its amazing health benefits without even tasting it.  Enjoy!
