Homemade Almond Milk

Forget buying almond milk at the market each week. You wouldn’t believe how easy it is to make your own! All you need is almonds and water and you’re good to go. This saves money on store-bought almond milk, is so much healthier than over-pastured cow’s milk, and gives you the satisfaction of knowing that your milk is homemade!

Homemade Almond Milk

Ingredients:

1 cup raw almonds
4 cups purified water
pinch stevia (optional)

Instructions:

Soak almonds in water overnight (about 8-12 hours). Drain water. Place almonds in a Vitamix or food processor. Add 4 cups fresh water and blend. You may also add a pinch of stevia before blending if you like your milk a little sweeter. Use a cheesecloth or fine strainer and pour the milk into a large bowl underneath. The filter will retain the almond pulp and you will be left with only liquid. Store milk in the refrigerator for up to 1 week and enjoy!
